White Tornado Music was created by Dean Mewhorter from Trempealeau, Wisconsin.  Dean's parents discovered that Dean could play the old farm pump organ "by ear" at the age of five.  The family attended church functions regularily and music was a big part of the family's experience.  Dean could hear a song a time or two and sit down and play the song at ease.  He would make up his own songs at ease.

    As a young adult, Dean used a guitar to play songs that he would write and sing.  After retiring as a school principal, friends encouraged Dean to use his God Given talent and he  purchased a keyboard and began writing, singing, and performing.  Over the years, it is estimated that he has written over 100 songs for other people and himself.  He continues to write and record his own CDs.  (Cds Available)

    On December 26, 2004, Dean married Bonny Lee from Bend, Oregon.  Bonny Lee joined him and the two perform (Schedule) at various dances and functions (Pictures) across the country.  Bonny Lee, too, was an educator and taught elementary school for 35 years.  White Tornado Music now has over 20 CDs available (CDs Available)

    Dean has performed in twelve different states.  In recent years, Dean and Bonny Lee enjoy performing both in Wisconsin in the summer and in Arizona in the winter, when they are not doing motor coach tours.  A highlight in their lives is promoting various musicians and traveling in their Bounder Motor Home as well as the annual visit to Arizona by  the many friends of music.
